Well, I must say I am happy the E3 anticipation is over… However, that’s not why I’m posting this update. The real reason being that Zelda Eternity will be hosting a Zelda Marathon being run to me, Doublet, and Garrett, SpaghettiWeegee.

Basic Info:

We will either be raising money to benefit Heart Disease, or Breast Cancer. (We have yet to do a coin toss!) And will be spending a full two or three days playing through all the Zelda games, aside for Sprit Tracks. Beginning with the original Zelda, we will play through all the official Zelda games in the order of their release. Also note that me and SpaghettiWeegee will be taking much needed shifts. One of us will be playing it on an Emulator, for live streaming, and the other on the original cartridge. For some games, I won’t be playing at all! And for some games spaghetti weegie won’t be traversing Hyrule as well. Anyhow, below is the list pertaining to the above information:

We will also be having some of our non-Zelda site friends dropping in to play for a few games, however which games they will be playing is entirely up to them. (Some of the site staff could even drop in as well… E-mail me guys!)

When:

The Marathon is going to happen sometime between mid July and early August. There is no exact date, but we are planning on it to mark the end of a great summer.

Note: We have nothing set up yet, no pay pal, no Ustream… Practically nothing – We do have experience and practice though! We should have most of that cleared by July, I’ll be making another post when it’s ready.

Prizes:

With the main stuff being said, I can start talking about the funner part! We will be giving away a Zelda Prize Package to a random donor. The prizes haven’t been talked about yet, but I just wanted to throw it out there. It will probably just be a few Zelda games with some neat collectors items… Maybe a nice Ocarina replica,  just some things that any Zelda jock would be proud to have.

Non Marathonial:

Now for the non-Zelda Marathon news: The first ZE site walk through is near completion! All I have left to do is put the text into a HTML layout that I spent over 12 hours designing a previous weekend… (:S) SpaghettiWeegee is also putting his Chapter One for Phantom hourglass in a similar format and he plans to have it up sometime soon. I’ll either make a new post or just edit this post when its ready.

 Oh, one last thing. I will be dressing up as either purple or red link! (Depending on what we decide to raise money for) And there will be lots of Zelda facts, jokes… We will point out several Easter eggs, cameos, some glitches and more! All while you guys are watching how obsessed we are… XD!
