Zelda on “Did you know gaming?”

In this video, Did You Know Gaming (DYKgaming), shows us some interesting secrets and hidden things in the Zelda series. Really, I’m surprised I never thought of the Majora’s Mask thing before with the Deku Mask. This video also points out some of the more mature things you might not have noticed.

The video also explains how the Deku Tree ends up being different in the three timelines, and how OoT might’ve ended up with gameplay similar to Super Mario 64. I’m guessing there are tons of more secrets and easter eggs still to be discovered though.

    I remember learning about how Ganon's Castle was originally going to be the hub area in OoT. I was a bit surprised, and I'm seriously glad they decided not to go with that. I wouldn't mind that sort of thing in a side-game, but in a main canonical title, helllllllllll no. Give me a real overworld.

    I DIDN'T know, however, that the picture thing with Phantom Ganon was carried over from the paintings thing. I'm kind of surprised I didn't make the connection, though.

    Interesting concept having Ganon's Castle as the hub, but like JuicieJ said it wouldn't work in a main title
