That’s right! To those who missed the 3DS Ambassador Program deals on Zelda II, among other retro (and not so retro) games, you can fix your abhorrent mistake and download Zelda II to your very own 3DS system in the near future– Nintendo has announced they plan to release Zelda II onto the eShop. No specific date has been set, yet, as the press release stated the game to be released in the vague “Q4″ period, which basically means sometime this winter, but considering how Q4 is bearing down on us like a train to a damsel in distress tied up on the tracks, it will be here sooner than you think.
Along with this announcement, the press release also came with announcements pertaining to the releases of numerous other games, both on and off the eShop– including the likes of Luigi’s Mansion 2, which is slated to hit stores early 2013 (disappointingly missing an appropriate Halloween release, but still showing up relatively soon). See? I didn’t lie. Anyway, to the hardcore masochists among you who can’t get enough Zelda II, the budding retro-fetishists who need a taste of the tough-as-nails world of the NES, or to anyone who likes checkpoint starvation, cheap deaths, tough platforming, and any of the other staples of ridiculously hard old games (God help you if you do), rest assured that Zelda II is on its way to help!
And that’s it from me. Weegee, out.
I'm a young generation gamer so games like these are difficult but playable, then I got the gamecube version of this game, ITS IMPOSSIBLE!!!!!!
It's not that bad once you get the hang of it. Trust me, there area many other NES games that are legit impossible to get the hang of unless your Jesus, or something.
Read "Jesus" as "Juicie".
As it should be…
