Wii-U Price and Release Date Revealed
That’s right, the Wii’s successor is almost here, and they’ve finally given us an exact date. Why do I say finally? Because it releases in only two months.
You’ll be able to get your hands on the Nintendo Wii-U on November 18. I recommend getting in line, like, November 15.
Much like the releases of the last generation of consoles, with the Wii strangely notwithstanding, there will be two versions of the Wii-U: First, a basic white version with an 8GB hard drive and a $300 pricetag; and second, a deluxe black version with a 32GB hard drive costing $350.

I want proof! White is supposed to be 1800 kr converted from US and Japan price. I really doubt it's twice as much.

We usually pay around $80 for Wii games compared to $50 in America, so I really don't doubt that this is true. However, the prizes might change. I don't know if they are official prizes or not, but we never have official prizes in Norway anyway…

Also, our prices is around your Norwegian prices. A ZombiU bundle goes for 5000 SEK, a basic for 3500 SEK and a Premium for 4000 SEK. I'd ask for a WiiU to Christmas, but problem is, I need a new computer. So I'll have to wait. =/ Not completely sold on the Wii U though, so I won't be too sad.
Those prices sound ridiculous. I highly doubt they are true.
If they are, you'd better import one from somewhere else. Even with shipping fees, you'll be better off by far.
Don't forget added shipping fees for future games needed in specific versions. If that matters.
