Happy Birthday To The Wind Waker!

I started to tear up when I saw this news.  Being my favorite Zelda game and favorite video game of all time, it sure made me feel…lots of feels.  And what better way to celebrate than by going to Zelda Symphony tomorrow?  Yes, today is the birthday of The Wind Waker, the best Zelda game in my eyes.  However, there’s something much more  special about this birthday of the game than any thus far:  today marks the 10th anniversary of The Wind Waker’s release in Japan.  Yep, you read that right.  10 years ago today, Nintendo released what is possibly the most controversial (graphic-wise, at least) Zelda game to date.  Having grew up with the game itself, I’m honestly so surprised at the direction the series as gone, though very happy, and very disappointed.  So, happy birthday to my favorite video game of all time!  Love you.  <3
