I usually make it a point to avoid talking about music. It’s used far too often as a means of judgment. Listen to popular music? You’re sheeple. Listen to unpopular music? You’re a hipster. For this reason, I feel uncomfortable even telling my closest friends and family what kind of music I listen to.
However, for the last few hours, I’ve been completely /enamored/ with a song I’ve had in my shuffle list for a while. What song?

You and I by Lady Gaga.

Let’s not mince any words here: New Jersey is not a bowl of sunshine and daisies. It’s more cloudy and weed flowers you always used to fire at your best friend when you were ten years old until he left your life forever because you happened to not own a y-chromosome. (Story for another time.) However, that’s not to say NJ is a terrible place to live. For those of you who live elsewhere, New Jersey’s about as terrible as a stubbed toe. About a three on the pain scale, but nothing to cry foul over. And yet… I can rarely get through a day without hearing a crack at my state. (more…)

You. Yeah, right there, with the eyes, scanning the page.  Go on, leave. There’s nothing of interest here, yet. Unless you wanna grab a coffee and we can get to know each other. Go on. Look at my profile. Feast your eyes on the savory feasts of self-indulgent paragraphs. Full? Satisfied? Good, now we can jump in. I’m going to be honest with you, reader. Blogging makes me uncomfortable. Talking about your life and your experiences? How silly, people on the internet don’t care! They’re too busy searching seemingly innocuous words on Google Images with Safe Search off to see what kind of not-so-innocuous images will show up. (Share with me your research.) Either that or trolling (oh god please please please troll my blog you’ll make my life.) Either way, there’s no way anyone would care about what goes on in a suburban white girl’s life.
.
So I got to wondering – what /would/ the internet community be interested in reading about? Especially when I’m locked under a PG ceiling. And you know what I came up with, readers if you’re still with me? Jack sh– nothing. The internet is notoriously apathetic. Which means two things – this blog will not be read, nor will it matter what I write. Consider this a placeholder (About 20% more professional than an empty page!), until something comes up that makes me a little bit less bland. =)

That’s a good enough introduction, right, guys? Did I do good? Did Mama make you proud?
