Since we here at Zelda Eternity cares about our affiliates, I create these community news posts every week. Let’s see what’s been happening in the community lately.
A new article hit Zelda Dungeon today, it’s called “The Gerudo: A Biologists Worst Nightmare?“. Written by “Smitie”, this article writes a bit about how the Gerudo’s could have excisted in real life. Read it here and comment below!
Also, Axle released his latest mailbag two days ago, you can watch it here, don’t forget to send in questions!
Zelda Universe just got up their September podcast, you can listen to it here. The Events includes a Cody interview and a quiz show that may or may not be related to the Zelda series.
And lastly, and article by Melchizedek Eleaza from Zelda Informer. It’s called “The Truth About Tingle“, I think the title pretty much says what the article is about.
Well, that’s it for this week, when it comes to our own site, V5 is getting closer and it will clear up a lot o confusion and make everything clear, you simply MUST be there to see it, it will be FABOLOUUUUUS! (Got the reference? lol). Hang in there people!

I just found something perfect for those who didn’t deliver an app to us cause they didn’t have time or they were unsure. Zelda Sages is now hiring! It’s right there at their main site! Especially since we’ve closed our staff positions, good luck to those over there.
Dathen Boccabella has written a nice article on Zelda Informer. It’s called “Zelda: Forever a Part of us” and marks the writters 99th post on ZI. Take a look! It’s a lot of the Zelda talk about what it does to us, and what it means to us.
As for ZD, our partnered website, Axle the Beast’s latest mailbag can be seen here, and his newest article about bosses in the Zelda series is called “Zelda Bosses: The Bigger They Are The Harder They Fall?” Sounds logic? Then go read it, Axle has done a lot of great articles lately.
Yeah, that’s right, I’m going to do community round-ups every week now. If there is something major for one special site I will post it, but then that will be a special post for that site. Daily news takes a lot of work, so enjoy it!

Our top affiliate Zelda Dungeon was recently posted an article regarding the origin of the Happy Mask Salesman and the Majora’s Mask. The author goes into detail about the connection between the two characters. I really enjoyed reading the article myself, being a big fan of Majora’s Mask. Click the link below to read the article. Here is an excerpt from the article to get you started:
“The Legend of Zelda: Majora’s Mask, had one of the most curious plots in the series, and it was supplemented by an assortment of some of the most interesting and well developed characters Zelda has ever seen. Yet among this entourage of developed characters there were a few whose appeal stemmed from a purposeful mysteriousness, such as the Happy Mask Salesman and Majora’s Mask itself, both of whom have extensive mysteries surrounding their origins. In addition, these two, though separate for most of the game, are in truth intricately connected. Who are these two exactly, and what are their stories? Let’s begin with the easier to explain of the two: Majora’s Mask.”

Over at our partnered site Zelda Dungeon, Axle the Beast has posted the weekly mailbag. Remember to send in questions yourself!
They are also now affilliated with Zelda Chronicles! One site we are affilliated with ourselves.
Nathaniel from Zelda Informer has written an article explaining why he doesn’t think Ocarina of Time is the best Zelda game. Actually, he seems to think Majoras Mask is better than Oot. Disagree? Comment here or on ZI. I got Oot when I was six, but I played Wind Waker a lot first. I don’t know why, but when I got Majoras Mask, it seemed like a better game in story and difficulty. However, I liked the design in Oot much better. Majoras Mask was a lot more mature, and chaotic, but Oot seemed like a much more original Zelda game. I can’t really choose between them.
As for our own site, I must say that we are still working on some secret projects that Mike mentioned before, but for now, remember that the Marathon starts soon! I am sure Doublet and Garrett will make a post about it closer to the date (6th of August).

A very interesting article has been written by “The Wolfess” from Zelda Universe, about the Master Sword. This article contains six sections that explains the appearances and possible origins of the Master Sword. It is pretty long, but absolutely worth to read! The article writer does actually include The Minish Cap in her/his timeline for the Master Sword! Want a reasonable explanation? Check out the article at ZU.
This article is one of the better ones I have read, it builds mostly on logic and it makes sense for people who believes it. Funny that the writer brought in The Minish Cap, which I didn’t expect. The Skyward Sword theories sounds okay and if you consider all this, it is basically a very good article. I’m not saying that I think Nintendo can confirm everything in this article, but as long as Nintendo doesn’t say anything else, it is something that’s comfortable to believe in.
