The information on the new tracklist page for Oracle of Ages that was incorrect has been patched, that’s not all though, a few more sound clips can be heard if you scroll down a bit. Look out for one last post about this when all the sound clips are finally uploaded but until then the order in which they are uploaded is very random. Listening to Ralph’s Theme and Zelda Awakens is highly recommended. There are some other really good ones too, but I can’t think of any off the top of my head.. except.. Outside Ancient Tomb. Do you have a favorite and if so tell us in the comments and I’ll add it to the tracklist asap.

To celebrate 2012, we are kicking back and jamming to a couple of our favorite tunes. Whether it’s Zelda music or some lesser composition, we can all appreciate music for what it is. With that in mind I started working on a another add-on for the Oracle of Ages section. Browsing it with Firefox seems to work the best, IE and Google Chrome lag because of all the.. well… you’ll see.

Our second chapter in the Oracle Of Ages section deals with mature themes like death, and life after death. It covers the game’s first dungeon and gets you started on the Trading Sequence that most Zelda games incorporate. Due to the subject matter, I truly regret not finishing and posting this before Halloween.

The controls and items pages under game information were already in place, but sorely needed an over-haul. Both were, for the most part, re-written and have undergone light reformatting. New Pictures were also added to the items page. Take a look by clicking these two links.

You can still view the guides as they were before editing here and here, for comparison sake but those pages will be deleted eventually.

Nothing major, the site gets updated in small ways regularly, and sometimes nobody bothers to tell anyone, mostly because those updates can be so small they aren’t even noticeable. This update is a bit bigger than that. A new page has been added to the site, it will be more relevant when the ZE Oracle of Ages site walkthrough is complete.
This new page was made to help navigate the different chapters of the walkthrough, currently only Chapter 1 is viewable but there are working titles for Chapter 2 which you can read if you decide to take a look.

This content covers everything up until the first dungeon. The text is complete, but I skipped some of the formatting near the end. I couldn’t bring myself to finish, I have to sleep, then go straight out the door to an interview in the morning, then work. So I’m posting it now rather than midnight tomorrow because I’ll be gone all day. My last update wasn’t complete either and won’t be for a while, but I can guarantee this content will be 100% in less than a week. You may notice there are duplicate pictures everywhere, I have the actual screenshots that are supposed to be there ready and will add those on Saturday. So please check back to see those in game screens. It’s gunna look awesome!

For those who celebrate it, I hope you had an awesome Canada Day! As per usual this is your regular content update from Zelda Eternity. What’s unusual is that I’m posting this week, and I couldn’t finish the update before my deadline. Anyway let me just say that the Oracle of Ages section is back. The text in question will be a complete guide for all of the magic rings in OoA. It’s not quite finished but it will be eventually.
Also I have the first chapter of the games walkthrough ready for a next content update I just had trouble with all the formatting and couldn’t post everything I had written with the time I had left. Chapter One leads us all the way up to the first dungeon. So watch out for that.

 In lieu of Richard’s resignation, I’ve taken over content-writing for the Oracle games. As such, I had limited time with which to put content together for this particular update, but here it is!

What’s been done:
In the future, Raven will be working on content for Oracle of Ages while I’ll remain on Oracle of Seasons. I’m going to try to at least get Oracle of Seasons up to date with the current Oracle of Ages guide (to keep some sort of balance between the two games) before I start making newer, unprecedented content.

While The Legend of Zelda Oracle of Ages and Seasons turned 10 years old a few months ago in Japan, both of them turned 10 years old two days ago in the US! They were both released for Game Boy Color the 14th of May, 2001. So I wanted to ask you guys, when did you first get them? Do you only have one or them, or perhaps none of them at all? Well, I’d definitely say both of them are worth a buy. I got Seasons quite a while ago, but I first defeated the final boss mere months ago (pathetic, I know). As for Ages, I had to order it through the internet, and I’m still playing it. They’re definitely two awesome 2D Zelda games.
Both games were supposed to be part of a trilogy, but as I’m sure most people know, the third game was cancelled. This really is a year full of anniversaries! Do you think the Oracles will be released on the eshop for Nintendo 3DS once it launches?

In an effort to get more articles out I’ll be making them shorter. No worries though, if you liked them the way they were before, as you may have noticed I plan on doing a series of articles. I had planned to do something like this a long time ago but wasn’t sure how to go about it, Now it’s a no brain-er. It was around this time ten years ago that we got word of the next two Zelda games, the Oracle series.
