Spirit Tracks Content Update (again)

Aaand hello again, ZE! Here we are on Friday the 13th, with the next installment of our weekly content updates. This time, we just have two small guides for the Spirit Tracks section, nothing fancy or extravagant. We don’t wanna push our luck, you see.

First up is a Force Gems guide for Spirit Tracks. Simple, straight-forward. Tells you what tasks you have to complete to obtain the force gems, as well as what tracks and goodies the gem opens up.

Next is a guide for the ever-elusive Rabbits of the world of New Hyrule – complete with map visuals to pinpoint the exact location of each critter. If pictures aren’t your thing, there’s also a text description to lead you to each rabbit.

So head on over to either of those pages, check ‘em out, maybe offer some suggestions or criticisms to me. It’s all welcome. If you’d like to see a guide for any Zelda game, also leave a suggestion down below and we’ll get our stellar, on-the-ball, shockingly attractive staff on the case for you. We feed on your attention, fans. Don’t let us starve. Happy Friday!

Spirit Tracks Content Update and Content News!

Near the end of the mailbag this Monday, webmaster Mike mentioned certain special secret weekly site updates coming soon. Well, behold, soon has come! (And it’s no April Fool’s joke, I swear.) From now until an indeterminate time, Zelda Eternity’s staff will be hard at work releasing content updates on the site every week. Don’t be afraid to show your excitement, guys. Given our, ahem, meager progress so far this year in the site content department, these weekly updates will serve as a kick in our collective caboose to work towards filling our game help libraries. And, hey, maybe we’ll aid you viewers with game help along the way, too.

Also, be ready to hear from some of our more unsung staff here at Zelda Eternity – including myself. So hello, ZE fans, I’m Skalla. My little corner of the site is the Spirit Tracks section. Check out the pages I’ve prepared for you lovely people below. More content coming from us next week, I promise. Perhaps from an abnormally large, airborne starchy vegetable.

A quick news post. Hopefully I can do this more often. Alright, so, here goes.

As we move towards a bright 3D future it’s important to remember the past that brought us up to this point. Years ago the DS was designed and created, now Nintendo is getting ready to release their next handheld. So before that happens, do some research. The DS had tons-o-games, many of which you probably never got to play. Jeremy Parish from 1UP.com is putting together a list of what he thinks are the platforms greatest games in a small running series called: Departing Salute – The Best of DS, and I have to say he’s picked quite a few games that are essential in a DS collection.

Spirit Tracks: One Year Anniversary!

Looks like today marks the day Spirit Tracks was released exactly one year ago! So tell me, did you buy Spirit Tracks the very day it was released? Did you like it?

Spirit Tracks wasn’t the best received Zelda game by reviewers or fans, but it was a good game in the series in my opinion. It introduced a lot of new elements that made the gameplay fun, even though I didn’t like the train THAT much. I mean, suddenly Link rides trains? Just didn’t think it was the best idea, but it worked out pretty well. I thought that the whole idea with Princess Zelda being a sidekick was pretty cool, and the music was pretty awesome as expected. Even though it wasn’t the longest game, it was a quite fun experience!

So what do you think? What are your thoughts now that you look back at it? Do you think it will fade compared to Skyward Sword? Do you look forward to a more mature type or gameplay or do you prefer the styles controlled DS gameplay? Are you hoping for more cell-shaded DS titles like ST soon?<

Excited about what kind of games will come out this year? Check out Gametrailers Most Anticipated Games Of 2010, “conflicting reports” from Nintendo prevented Zelda Wii’s appearance on this video. However, as I mentioned earlier, it is many other good games that will come out this year. Eiji Aonuma has been interviewed by the official Nintendo magazine about both Spirit Tracks and Zelda Wii. You can read the full interview here. He actually said that he had been reading some speculation on the new Zelda game on the internet, and that some of it is correct! What do you think? Also, the Spirit Tracks is also available at the Sacred Realm (Not as a torrent!). If you ask me, the soundtrack was incredible and worth to download. Another Zelda Marathon is starting in March, you can read about it here. For articles, you can read about Wind Waker Wii at Zelda Informer. Do you think that could work? And do you think Zelda can be better off without Aonuma, Tezuka and Miyamoto?

That’s all for this weekend, enjoy the rest of it everybody!

I’m impressed!

Hi there! I got The Legend of Zelda – Spirit Tracks for christmas, and I got to say that I’m impressed! Sure, there are lot of similarities to Phantom Hourglass, but what’s so wrong with that? There’s something funny about it one character in ST, though. You know Chancellor Cole and Staven? In Norwegian, Staven means “The Pole/Staff”. But he is not named Staven in all versions, though.

Until next time!
