Well hello there Zelda Eternity readers. The time has come to announce two very important things! First off, as you must have noticed from the title, another Zelda fansite has merged with Zelda Eternity. That site would be Zelda World.

For those of you who don’t know me, hi there! I’m Skermefaten, your new webmaster. I was originally the webmaster of Zelda World. I began Zelda World back in July 2010, and during its time of being live it did much better than I originally expected. It came to a point though where I wasn’t in a position to be able to run the site anymore. So, seeming how I was close with Zelda Eternity and I was a huge fan of the site, I approached Mike with the idea of merging. And well, here we are! With the merge, Zelda Eternity won’t be changing name-wise or anything else of the sort. We’re basically shifting Zelda World into Zelda Eternity’s current setup.

However, Zelda Eternity does have new staff members from Zelda World, as well as some new content. ZE’s newest staff besides myself are DodongoBomber, Nick, and Prince Deity. You’ll be seeing them around on the site real soon.

As for the content, ZE now has a Twilight Princess Video Walkthrough from Zelda World that is in progress and should be complete in the near future. Not only that, but the Ethnicities of Zelda section has been revamped. As you will see there is a neat little navigation system and each race has or will have an informative article written for them (such as this Gerudo article and this Sheikah article). Plus, the Epona Side-Quest guide for Ocarina of Time has been redone. Work will continue for all these sections, and of course more content is coming for Zelda Eternity in the future.

Now, onto the second order of business. We’ve got our summer marathon set for August 1st at 5:00PM EST, and it will span for four days! The marathon will mainly feature Garrett and Richard (Richard now runs Nintendo Guru) from last year’s marathon, as well as DodongoBomber and myself. In this stream, every canon-Zelda game (excluding the DS titles) will be completed. This year’s stream is sure to be even more awesome than last year’s, so don’t forget to be there! We do apologize for giving you such a short notice, but we still hope you can make it.

I look forward to working with Zelda Eternity as one of the webmasters now, and myself and the new staff will be sure to help make Zelda Eternity a better site then it already is.

Well, folks, I’ve been working here officially for an entire year, and I just gotta say, it’s been one heck of a ride. It’s had it’s ups and downs, and I’ve seen some pretty rough spots around here, I must say, however, in the end, I firmly believe that this whole trip has been worth it. I’ve met new people, I’ve improved as a writer, and I finally have something to do on nights and weekends (yessssssss). I don’t regret a minute of this entire trip, however, there is one thing it hasn’t helped me with… I’m still as forgetful and scatterbrained as ever, unfortunately, and now I’m forgetful and scatterbrained in front of Zelda fans across the world. It’s gotten pretty bad, too, and I’m starting to worry that it’s getting serious. I recently forgot something so incredibly important that it makes me question my mental health. Yes, I’ve been working at ZE for an entire year now… As of yesterday.

Once again, we have our staff openings page updated and this time we have 4 different positions to choose from so there is a large variety this time around. The positions available would be Video Specialist, Content Writer, Informative Writer and of course, Article Writer. Staff Openings

Hi everyone I’m Raven, a new staff member here at Zelda Eternity. I will be writing articles regularly, and helping out in whatever other areas I can. Hopefully I get to write one of the guides here at ZE… I’m working on it.. anyway, feedback of any kind from you guys would be much appreciated, since I am an aspiring writer. Also I’m aiming to get these articles out periodically so check out the article page from time to time.

Next update I will be posting my first article and will know a bit more about my role here as a staff member; and what I can contribute to the Zelda community. Which should be today or tomorrow at the latest. So stay tuned!
