Well, I’m all set for the MHQthon that starts at 8:00 p.m. CDT today, like Elias mentioned in the previous post. However, before that, I wanted to show you all something really cool and newly translated from the Hyrule Historia. Concept art is something that really varies in quantity from game to game. Metroid for example has tons of released concept art from Retro Studios, while I’ve only really seen official art for Zelda. That is, until the Hyrule Historia was released. Now Glitterberri.com has given us even more awesome concept art from it to gape at, this time from Twilight Princess. Above you can see some concept for Ganondorf, where he was more like the Ganondorf of Ocarina of Time.

The Zelda ReOrchestrated project entitled “The Twilight Symphony” has finally begun recording its highly anticipated “Live Choir”, and thanks to the miracle of the internet, we can follow the progress of said recording right from the comfort of our own homes. That’s right, ZREO, for our stalking pleasure, has decided to live blog the whole recording session! Check in to see their progress– but be sharp about it: the recording ends at 9 Pacific time (about two hours from now at this time of writing)!

Hey, all of you crazy people! We’ve been keeping this update combo going for quite some time now, and it would make sense if we were running out of steam, so why am I so full of energy today?! Because this is only my second time updating, and I’ve been lying around doing nothing for the past few weeks! Yesterday, however, I was yelled at by– er, “remembered”– no, yelled at by one of my coworkers that tomorrow I’d be in charge of the staff update, but being woefully unprepared as is dictated by my religion (Slackerism), I had absolutely nothing ready. Panicked, I did the only thing I could. I played a video game nervously. Then, inspiration hit, and I decided, to take care of my update, I’d do what I do best: talk to myself for hours on end!! This was the result.

Remember the amazing site zreomusic.com, home to Zelda Reorchestrated? I sure do. After raising over $24,000, they released a 10 minute preview of their amazing Twilight Symphony. The entire symphony will include re-makes of all of the amazing songs from Twilight Princess. With this preview mostly containing only works-in-progress clips and the already amazing sounding montage of epicness we can be sure that the final product will be the totally awesome.

Oh, hi Zelda Eternity readers! I didn’t see you there. You’re probably wondering who I am. What? You aren’t? Well, I’m going to tell you anyway. My name is Garrett, but you can refer to me as SpaghettiWeegee.  I’m one of the three new staff members here on the site. I’ll be adding guides periodically to the Twilight Princess section, and in the near future, I’ll be uploading a full walkthrough for Phantom Hourglass. I’m working hard to produce even more content for this site, including a video walkthrough of Twilight Princess, so be sure to stay on the lookout.  

I am absolutely ecstatic to be a part of ZE’s staff, and am looking forward to working with them. I’d like to thank Doublet for teaching me how to format my guides (not to mention helping me with this post), and Mike for deciding to hire me. You guys are awesome.
