Zelda 3DS Theories/Predictions

This isn't so much what you want from Zelda 3DS, but rather what you /think/ is going to happen. Or, you can also post really cool ideas that you'd like to see but wouldn't mind if that's not what Zelda 3DS is.

I think we'll see the return of SS's Big/Boss Keys rendition via use of the touch screen. Seriously, there's no reason not to use it. It was a genious addition to the series, making the build-up to the boss more intense by making us work to get there. The touchnscreen is something to be utilized with puzzles in general, in fact. If you've played Resident Evil: Revelations, you'll know why I've said this. Its touchscreen puzzles were few and simple, but they showed the clear potential it has for many kinds of puzzles in Zelda 3DS. The Sculptures/Carvings from SS should be one of these.

We may have our first original 3D Zelda game on a handheld system. Ocarina of Time 3D proved that Nintendo would be able to do such a thing. However, I doubt Nintendo will abandon 2D completely. Even if they are able to make 3D games for both console and handhelds, they may bring back the style like in Phantom Hourglass and Spirit Tracks. I'm still pretty sure Nintendo'll go for a 3D game first, though.

As much as I'd like Nintendo to continue doing this, I kind of feel like they'll only do it with Skyward Sword. The touch screen would make it really cool, and we might as well see it, but I wouldn't be 100% sure.

Yeah. A lot of people think that that was the hardest one. I just don't get why, it is the easiest one by far.
