Pretty much the same post as the Zelda 3DS Grapics thread. What kind of art style would you like to see in Zelda Wii U?
I'd like a TP/OoT(3D) mixture. That'd be BA. (And sexy.)

I wouldn't say it's a repeat unless you mean it repeats TP's style, since it's basically TP link, reworked with better textures and higher density mesh. (And TP Link essentially was that for Adult Link OoT, so I guess you could say it's him)
The Demo, though, probably is not how a Zelda game would ever look like. Much of the design clearly is ocused on showing off all sorts of shader effects that would be used differently in-game.
I'd opt for what ever stlye Nintendo comes up with. Imho, they didn't make a bad decision on that front yet.
There are so many nice things that *could* be done. Both on a realistic and a stylistic end.
I'm sure, Nintendo will come up with what's best for what ever the next console game will be.

I have to point to what i stated about this topic in the "What do you want from Zelda Wii U?" thread: "Also, for some reason i would really like it to be like the Wii U demo and have something to do with either TP or MM. I would just love that."
That, ladies and gentlemen, is efficiency... and laziness.

Personally, I'd like to see a SS/WW hybrid. I know SS is already a WW/TP hybrid, but it still isn't really what I'm looking for. I'd like to see a TP link done in WW cel-shaded style with more shadows and detail. That, in my mind anyways, would be a perfect graphical style. Take a look at that fake MM Wii U trailer, something pretty close to that.
Beat: LoZ, Zelda 2, LttP, OoT, LA, MM, OoX, WW, MC, TP, PH, ST
No Death: LoZ, LttP, OoT, LA, MM, OoX, WW, MC, TP, PH, ST
3 Heart: OoT, MM, WW
Fave Games: LttP > WW > OoX > MM > MC

That fan trailer didn't look anything close to what a SS/WW hybrid would look like. Quite honestly, that mixture sounds pretty redundant. It would devoid the multiple shades of color from SS's art style due to the Cel-shading, which would ruin the whole purpose. Not trying to down on your wishes, or anything, just pointing out the facts.

Yeah, but That's the kind of style I'd be looking for. The cartoonish style of graphics with some seriously nice shading and particle effects. I LOVE that graphical style in that trailer.
Beat: LoZ, Zelda 2, LttP, OoT, LA, MM, OoX, WW, MC, TP, PH, ST
No Death: LoZ, LttP, OoT, LA, MM, OoX, WW, MC, TP, PH, ST
3 Heart: OoT, MM, WW
Fave Games: LttP > WW > OoX > MM > MC

Wind waker style but just a little toned down. Have the same textures but not huge, cartoon-like eyes and faces

well, if it's not that then i'd like to see the style they used in the tech demo

LoZ | AoL | ALttP | LA | OoT | MM | OoA | OoS | WW* | TMC | TP | PH | ST | SS
Black: Completed | Blue: Completed 100% | Green: 3HR** | Purple: 100% and 3HR**

I want more skyward sword art style. It kinda looked like crap on the wii (but that's okay) and it's mostly due to anti-aliasing and the resolution. The Wii U fixes all those problems and I would love to see maybe some cheap HD remake for SS on the Wii U because it really suffered for being such a new game on such an old system. If you play that game on a 50 inch screen like I once did, you'd see how horribly visible the jagged lines can be when closely observed, it's not pretty. BUT, back to my point, again this is my favorite zelda art style so far, and can be extremely gorgeous when run on a powerful machine like a wii u, even moreso than cell shading and realism. It's a unique balance that has a special beauty to it that I don't think much else can top. That's what I think.
EDIT: I like how Nintendo did exactly what I wanted them to do![]()

This is nearly identical to what I'm predicting/what I want Zelda Wii U's graphics to be like. (Image from Far Cry 3.)

I'm almost certain that we'll be seeing the Skyward Sword graphic style again since Nintendo really seemed to be pleased about it. I like it myself but I feel Nintendo needs to stick with one definitely style entirely, if not two (what with the cel-shaded Link). Personally I would like to see something like what was seen in the Wii U Zelda demo seen in 2011 but I feel Twilight Princess didn't do that kind of style too much justice in it's 480p form. I'll be fine with whatever style Nintendo goes with but like I said before, they need to not have a different style for each new console outing.

If the Twilight Princess's graphics is like the Lord of the Rings, then the Wii-U graphics should be like The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey. I want Zelda graphics for the Wii-U to capture both the epic and whimsical tone that makes the Zelda games unique. It's that balance of dark and light-hearted nature that can appeal to both older and younger audience.
