Zelda For Eternity III: The Aftermath

Now with this year's marathon over, I figured I'd make a thread where we can talk about all our favorite moments and such and perhaps maybe add a few things to the upcoming vault that we might have forgotten. So, let's get this thread rolling. ^_^ --- Personally, I had a great time with the marathon this year and honestly had more fun with it than the first year. I got to chat with some cool people I've never chatted with before and got to talk to a few awesome people through the Skype calls. It was my first time talking with a lot of you, especially JuiceiJ, Elias and Darren. Playing through two games was a lot of fun and I'm kind of glad that Majora's Mask dragged on a little longer for some reason. I was really grateful with the support I was getting and I was really happy that you guys were thrilled about me having a girlfriend now and such, how I was a lot happier and all that. I was really pleased that Liz joined the stream chat a few times (for those of you who forget, her screen name was Gumdrop001). It was really surprising that she joined the Skype call out of nowhere too. It actually gave me an edge in finishing the Swamp Shooting Gallery oddly. I don't know, I was so glad that she got involved with the chats and call as it goes to show how supportive she was of me, even if we teased each other most of the time. I just want to thank all of you who joined us, streamed the games and supported us through out. We hope to bring back the marathon for a forth year. For those of you who are new to the forums, stick around as we may have other streams and stuff happening in the future. PS: Did you guys like Liz at all? XD

I gotta say, I'm really disappointed that I got so sick towards the end of The Minish Cap. :< Wish I could've seen it through to the end. The crowd was great and so were the folks I was streaming with, so I really hated to go.

My favorite part apart from streaming, though, was watching Emhave pull off miracles, like beating A Link to the Past in about 3 hours with no deaths, or the behemoth Skyward Sword in 13. Gotta admit, the guy has crazy skills. ._.

I only saw Emhave play SS, and I saw it form Sandship to I think right before Sky Keep, but it was awesome. JJ told me to come, and I had a lot of fun. I remember Link falling and Emhave yelling at him like "Why did ou do that!" And JJ was just like "He's doing what you told him to." And of course, when Emhave ended the Skype call because they weren't involving the viewers was funny. My only regret about it was that I only saw him play SS.

Naww, thanks guys. :3 The reason I ended the Skype call was because everyone suddenly was enabling their webcam and therefore only talked about things the viewers couldn't see.

Because I somehow sadly missed the Tingle glitch when Elias was playing WW, my funniest moment was in Skyward Sword while I was heading for Lanayru Sand Sea. Just after getting the Clawshots, we witnessed a bokoblin walking, completely by himself, from the past created by a timeshift stone and into the present. Within the blink of an eye, he was gone. Laughter marked that moment pretty well.

And then there were all the moments when I was trying to draw a Triforce on Goddess Walls, but never got Fairies. I had to deal with three hearts no matter how perfectly my triforce was drawn. I even got Bombs at one point, like WTF?

Hopefully I won't get as much as six games next year... XD

Yeh, Massive respect to Emhave for finishing 3 games in a row (what, 22 hours of straight play time?), then a short break while Mike played MM, and then right back into it with SS. I was a little disappointed that I didn't get to see all of SS (it's one of my top four Zelda games)...
I also liked Mike's epic MM run - I've never seen a 100% MM run before. It was hilarious that you completed the game completely out of order, just to prove a point. Now I need to see you do a speedrun (next year perhaps?)
Pity I didn't get to chat more - it would seem I'm in a very different timezone to most other viewers :/

I actually thought about doing that this year depending on timing but I decided to just go with the usual 100% run. Next year, we'll see. I'd like to see how fast I can play through the game.

Seriously, though, I think my favorite part was when Elias said if he were to caption that picture of Link staring at Zelda with that bizarre face, he would put "You're... you're pregnant?" That was the funniest moment in the entire stream. At least for me. I have no idea how I looked when I did the Kamaro Dance.

That's the official story. What unofficially happened was [redacted] threw the GameCube out the window out of unidentified rage. Of course, there are also (apparently) 48 different variations of this unofficial account.
