Recommend good fanfictions you've read here. Good writings should be shared with everyone.
My first recommendation is H. B. Dragonheart's LoZ fanfics in general.

I especially loved her tetralogy that tells about Link and Fierce Deity.
The first part: The Hero's Many Faces
I wasn't sure if this forum was for fic posting only but I still created the topic here. You're free to move it into a right area if the current one is wrong.
Legend of Zelda: Child of the Sun is pretty cool. It's a "what-if" story, saying what would have happened if Link was raised by the Gerudo in Ocarina of Time.
If you are a fan of Majora's Mask, you'll like Insomnia. It's a novelization of Majora's Mask, with a few twists involved.
Unfortunately, they are both in progress. =P
I have to say that my definite favorite is The Hero of Wolves. It takes place after TP. The author is an amazing writer, and portrays the characters excellently.

Sadly fanfics seem to be the biggest reason I don't post to the forums much. ^^' Anyways here are couple of fanfics I have picked from fanfiction.net and thought they were good.
One of the most famous Zelda fics around has to be mentioned! The Return by Rose Zemlya. The author's writing style does not only keep you hooked to the good story, but the author also excels at making good OCs. I really hoped some of them were actual LoZ characters but alas... The author has also created very interesting cultures and customs to every race in Hyrule. I recommend you to at least check this fic out.

This fanfic's plot is pretty original (aside of it going through the usual LoZ save-the-world stuff). Link has a surprising predicament for example. The story is well written and interesting.
Quietus by Michel T
This is well written, basic LoZ story. It takes place in OoT world and couple of hundred years after defeat of Ganon.
The Mirror Tells All by Blue Taboo
Pretty nice story, couple of years after the events of OoT, Child-timeline. "Link returns home to Hyrule after a journey that has eaten the rest of his childhood. What he finds is a peaceful land on the outside, but a political scene full of turmoil he doesn't understand." I'm sorry to say this fic hasn't been finished yet. I still recommend to read it though.
