Yeah well the Octorok mimi game wasn't that hard for me. I finished it in like 15 or 20 minutes I am good with a Bow :P. But one mini game that frustrated me to hell was where you were spinning in that Darning whatever game trying to use those damn bomchu's to shoot the targets on the walls. Also the Octorock game pissed me off too. I always got all 24 masks before beating the game. Then I would get fierce Deities mask and I would always try to get that milk that makes you magic infinite for 3 days. Then I will slash the hell out of the boss. I know I am cheap but I don't care :P.

It's mostly about memorization. You need to memorize where the different color Octoroks will appear throughout the game. If you do that, you'll be able to shoot them down without reacting. Once you've got their positions memorized, it's pretty easy. (That is, if you're good with the Bow.)

Like Juicy said, memorization can be really helpful. However, if you aren't good with a bow, get better at that first, or you won't have a chance. The controls can be stiff in MM and OoT for aiming, but you can get used to it.
