Just real quick, for those of you that don't know about the 4/48, we're a group of college students that have been marathoning through the Legend of Zelda series for the past three years now in order to raise money for Child's Play Charity. We just finished our last marathon a few months ago in December, and while the next marathon won't be until the same time this year, we like to keep in touch with the community in the meanwhile.
And that's where our 'practice runs' come in. Every few weeks, members of the team will pick a game on our lineup and complete it to the best of our ability, streaming the playthrough live on our website and Ustream. Naturally, there's a chat as well, so you can talk with us while we play.
Our first practice run will be tomorrow, April 1st, at 8:00 pm EST. My teammate Ryan Adams and I will be playing through Adventure of Link in (hopefully) four to five hours. We've already got a couple of good friends here at ZE, and we'd love for the rest of you to take the time to check us out tomorrow!
If you're curious, you can learn more about the event at www.zelda448.com
or, if you'd like to read about the practice run in particular, check out our latest blog post here:
Hope to see you all there!
Peter, Team 4/48
