from ocarina of time to wind waker

this thread is to discus what things in wind waker are connected to ocarina of time. is Jabun Jabu-Jabu? Is the great deku tree in wind waker the deku sprout from ocarina of time? post you oppions.

yea jabun is jub jub (i think) nd yes the deku tree is the deku sprout from oot because the deku tree in oot waz about like 1000 years old or sumtin idk im just gusseing here

another thing ill point out is that in oot, you get the iron boots from the ice cavern, and in wind waker you get the iron boots from a icy island, and in a cave on that island. Just another connection between the two games.

First thing sfirst their is know proof Jabun is jabu jabu but they do have similar names so id think it would be like a son of jabu jabu or something but that still isnt proven. I would go with the idea that the deku sprout is the deku tree especially since you only see the sprout in the AT part of OOT

yea but in oot jub jub is gone when u go 2 get the iron boots so he died or fled away but yea jabun is either jub jub or jub jubs son

The baby deku tree in OoT is obviously the great deku tree in WW. :x

We can safely assume the Deku Tree from WW is the sprout from OOT but Ive always wondered about Jabun, maybe he was king of the Zoras who MAYBE lived in Greatfsh island, and the successor to Jabu Jabu? Or maybe hes the king zora from OoT? I dont remember his name ever being mentioned, and he wasnt killed by the Water Temple's curse so i think he would at least live a long time after OoT

no offense but how CAN'T the deku tree be the baby deku sprout?? and i think if the Mc gyorg and the MM gyorg are under the same name... they can do WHATEVER they whant with these characters...

My thoughts:

OoT leads to TWW on the timeline (Duh)
The Forest Haven is where the Kokiri Forest used to be
The Great Deku Tree is either the sprout from OoT or a descendant of him.
The Koroks evolved from the Kokiri
Dragon Roost Island is where Death Mountain used to be
The Ritos evoled from the Zoras
The Forsaken Fortress is where the Gerudo Valley used to be.
Jabun MIGHT be Jabu-Jabu...I don't really know
The Great Sea is where Hyrule used to be (That one took a lot of thinking to realize)

Interesting, that in both timelines the same thing happened... - the Gerudos disappeared (got extinct or went away) and the _Blins overtook control of the left behind places.

I loved the Gerudos...I mean their pixels were hot, their theme song was awesome, and Gerudo's Fortress started that whole sneak-through-a-dungeon thing (to the best of my knowledge). I used to always have fun at the horseback shooting range...ahh good times.

But I honestly' don't know how weird the Gerudo's would look in WW, I mean we could use Ganondorf's design as a reference but...anyway I wonder how they would've been designed in Twilight Princess, I mean they could've shown a few Gerudo's, I miss em.
