Young Link
Born as an orphan in the Kokiri Forest He was the only kokiri to not have his own fairy. Then one day the Great Deku Tree sent Navi to him. Navi came to Link and told him to go see the Great Deku Tree. Once Link got there the Deku Tree told Link to enter him and destroy the evil inside of him. Once Link had destroyed the evil the Deku Tree gave him the Kokiri Emerald. Then he told Link to meet the Princess of Destiny. Once Link met Princess Zelda he embarked on a quest to find the remaining Spiritual Stones and bring them back to Hyrule Castle. Once he returned, however, he found Hyrule Castle destroyed. To his horror Link sees Zelda and Impa fleeing the Castle, Following close behind come Ganondorf. Ganondorf turns to Link and asks him where they went. Link bravely draws his shield and sword. Ganondorf then blasts him with his magic. Link then sets off to the Temple of Time...

Adult Link
After seven long years of slumber Link awakens as the Hero of Time. As soon as he awakens he meets Rauru, one of the seven Sages. He tells Link what he must do to save Hyrule from Ganondorf. He then adds his power to Link's. As a young teen, Link is faced with finding Zelda, the seven sages and defeating the Evil King of Evil, Ganondorf.

Navi
Navi was sent to Link to guide him to the Deku Tree to help the Deku Tree. After Link destroyed the evil inside the Deku Tree, Navi became his constant companion and guide. She helped him throughout his quest, suggesting ways to defeat enemies, where to go next, or how to use certain items.

The Great Deku Tree
The Great Deku Tree is the guardian of the forest and the Kokiri who live there. He is kind of like a father type figure to them. In the mangas He usually has a time for stories that he shares with the Kokiri. In Ocarina of Time he summons Navi to call upon Link. Once Link returns to the Deku Tree, he is told to enter the Deku Tree and fight an evil that is inside of the Deku Tree. Once Link finishes destroying the evil inside of the Deku Tree the Deku Tree gives him the Kokiri's Emerald. Then the Great Deku Tree dies.

Princess Zelda
Zelda is the Princess you must help in the game, and in the end save from Ganondorf once more. You first me Zelda in Hyrule Castle's Courtyard. She tells you of her dream, and she also tells you of Ganondorf. The Evil man from the desert that killed the Great Deku Tree, and as been appearing constantly to Link in his dreams as well. There, together, you and Zelda come up with a plan to save Hyrule. You must find the three Spiritual Stones and return back to Hyrule Castle.

Sheik
Sheik helps Link throughout his Journeys when he is Older. He helps set him on the right path to discovering the next temple, and Sage. He also teaches Link new songs to help him warp to places faster. Sheik is one of the last Sheikah in the entire race. He also wears ninja like clothing to hide his true identity.

Ganondorf, The King of Evil
Ganondorf, The main antagonist of the Zleda Series. He is the one causing all the mayhem across Hyrule. He is also considered the King of the Gerudo race, being the only man born for a 100 years. He gained the trust of the King of Hyrule, but in the end he killed him and toke command of Hyrule. Using the doors inside the Temple of Time (that Link opened) he gained control of the Triforce of Power and used it to make Hyrule a wasteland.

Malon
Link meets Malon in the Market at Hyrule Castle. Malon proves very helpful during Ocarina of Time. When Link is trying to get into Hyrule Castle she asks him to hatch an egg and wake up her father. When Link ventures to Lon Lon Ranch she teaches Link Epona's Song. Which helps Link call Epona where ever he is. Later on, in the future Link helps Malon and the Ranch when he wins Epona from Ingo.

Rauru
Link first meets Rauru in the Realm of the Sages. He is the Sage of Light, and tells Link about the future, and what he must do to set Hyrule back in order and how to destroy the King of Evil, Ganondorf. He also is the first Sage to add his power to Link by giving Link the Light medallion.

Saria
Link's childhood friend from Kokiri Forest. Before Link left Kokiri Forest to start on his grand adventure Saria gave him the Fairy Ocarina, this let them communicate together whenever he played Saria's Song. Saria also ended up being a Sage as well, The Sage of the Forest. In the future Link end's up saving her in the Forest Temple and awakening her as a Sage. She also adds her power to his by giving him the Forest Medallion.

Darunia
Darunia is the leader of the Goron Tribe. He holds the second emerald you need to open the Temple of Time, The Goron's Ruby. After you defeat the boss of Dodongo's Cavern the stubborn Goron Leader comes to accept Link as his "sworn brother". Later on in the future, Adult Link helps out the Goron Tribe when they've been imprisoned in the Fire Temple. He fulfills his promise to Link, the Goron, Darunia's son by going to the Fire Temple and defeating Volvagia. After Link is transported to the Sage's Realm Darunia calls him his "true sworn brother". He then gives him the Fire Medallion.

Ruto
As Young Link, Link meets her inside of the Zora's God, Lord Jabbu Jabbu. She is a snobby, spoiled Zora Princess. But after getting back the Zora's Sapphire and rescuing her from Barinade she seems grateful and asks Link what he would like for rescuing her. Of course our hero needs the Zora's Sapphire so he asks her for it. She tells him that her mother told her to give it to the man she marries, so she also calls it the Zora's Engagement Ring. In the future she helps Link out by telling him how to change the water levels inside the Water Temple. She also awakens as the Water Sage giving Link the Water Medallion.

Impa
Link first meets Impa in Hyrule Courtyard after talking to Princess Zelda for the first time. She teaches him one of the most important songs that Link will need to use throughout the whole game, Zelda's Lullaby. She also escorts Link out to Hyrule Field without causing any alarm throughout the castle. She is one of the last members of the Shekiah Tribe, and she opened up Kakiriko Village to the rest of Hyrule, because it use to be only a Sheikah Village. She is the Fifth Sage, and the holder of the Shadow Medallion. Link must complete the Shadow Temple to earn this Medallion.

Nabooru
The Last Sage you must unlock is the leader of the all female Gerudo Tribe. You first find Nabooru inside the Spirit Temple as a kid. She can't fit into the crawl space and since Link is small she asks him to go in for her. After Link finds the Silver Gauntlets he sees Nabooru getting attacked by the Twinrova Witches. When he returns to the Spirit Temple as an Adult he battles another Iron Knuckle who ends up being Nabooru. The Twinrova Sisters had brainwashed her. After defeating the Twinrova Sisters Link sees Nabooru in the Realm of Sages and she gives him the Spirit Medallion.

Kaepora Gaebora
Another helper in the Game is Kaepora Gaebora. He is a large but wise Owl that gives Link hints on what to do next. Although you only see him as a Child. Kaepora Gaebora is a very tricky owl that likes to talk a lot. He is also said to be a former Sage, watching over the land of Hyrule.
