Fairy Fountains
As you roam around the land of Hyrule you'll come across fountains. Some will have normal fairy's that you can catch and put into bottles or use to heal up. The other fairy fountains will require you to play Zelda's Lullaby which lets the Great Fairy emerge from her fountain. She'll usually give you a magic upgrade and heal you. The following is a guide on how to find these Fairy Fountains.

Fairy Fountains
Fairy Fountain #1
Location: Sacred Forest Meadow

The first Fairy Fountain is located in the Sacred Meadow. At the end of the maze you'll see a stair case leading up to the entrence of the Forest Temple. Well before you run up the staircase turn around and there will be a ladder leading up to a mesa type terrain. Climb up the ladder and look for a hole, square like thing.There will be a grotto inside of the hole. Jump in and you'll find a thrieving group of Fairys avalible for your use.

Fairy Fountain #2
Location: Kakiriko Graveyard

The next Fairy Fountain is found in the first set of tombstones found in Kakiriko Graveyard. Find the one tombstone with bright, yellow flowers in front of it. Run to the back of the tombstone and pull it back to reveal a hole. Drop into it. You'll see a single treasure chest. Open it and take whatever is inside of it. Then bomb the wall behind the chest. Run to the end of the hallway and you'll meet up with a nice Fairy Fountain.

Fairy Fountain #3
Location: Hyrule Field

If you've ever been roaming around Hyrule for the heck of it you might've noticed a small area west of Hyrule Castle with a small brook around it. Swim across the small waterway to the island. If your a child you might have to fight a lone peahat. Bomb the only boulder there and drop into the grotto to find the lost Fairy Fountain.

Fairy Fountain #4
Location: Zora's River

Near the middle part of Zora's River there is a big mesa overlooking the river. Climb up the ladder (As an adult) or use a cucco to float over to it. (as young Link) Once on top of the mesa there will be a ring of rocks. Bomb the center and drop into yet another grotto. Inside will be your Fairy Fountain.

Location: Gerudo's Fortress

Once you have the Stone of Agony, you'll be able to uncover the Fairy Fountain inside of Gerudo's Fortress. But for those of you that don't have the Stone of Agony the grotto is in the middle of the courtyard. Finding it will be the Challenge though.

Fairy Fountain #6
Location: Desert Colossus

In front of the Spirit Temple there is a dried up oasis. If you walk over there Navi will light up green and start to jump up and down. Play the Song of Storms and the Oasis will fill up with water and Fairies!


Great Fairy Fountains
Great Fairy Foutain #1
Location: Death Mountain

At the top of Death Mountain right next to the entrence to Death Mountain Crater is a cave blocked by a rock slab. Bomb the wall to reveal a cave. Go inside and you'll find a Great Fairy. Play Zelda's Lullaby with your Ocarina and the Great Fairy will come out. This Great Fairy will give you a magic meter which allows you to use spin attacks and later on you can use Magic Spells givin to you by other Great Fairies.

Location: Hyrule Castle

Once you have accuqried the Bomb Bag, Jump Hyrule Castle's front gate and run up to the sign that says dead end. There will be a boulder behind the sign. Blow it up and you'll find a hole in the wall just big enough to crawl into. Go inside and you'll find a Great Fairy. Play Zelda's Lullaby with your Ocarina and the Great Fairy will come out. This Great Fairy will give you Din's Fire. This Magic spell will give you the ability to caste a ball of fire around you momentarily.

Great Fairy Foutain #3
Location: Zora's Fountain

At the back of Zora's Fountain is a small island. Along the wall are a group of boulders. Bomb these boulders and enter the cave. Once inside you'll find a Great Fairy. Play Zelda's Lullaby with your Ocarina and the Great Fairy will come out. She'll reward you Farore's Wind which allows you create warp areas in temples so you can warp to them later on.

Great Fairy Foutain #4
Location: Death Mountain Crater

Near the ladder that leads up to the ledge inside of Death Mountain Crater theres a cave being blocked by a couple of boulders. Smash it with the Megaton Hammer. Once inside play Zelda's Lullaby. The Great Fairy will come out and give you her bit of aid in your quest to save Hyrule. She doubles your Magic Meter!

Great Fairy Foutain #5
Location: Desert Colossus

In Desert Colossus on the right side there are two palm trees along the rock wall. Go inbetween the palm trees and blow open the entrence to the cave that leads inside to your fifth Great Fairy. Go inside the cave. Once inside play Zelda's Lullaby. The Great Fairy will come out and talk to you. This Great Fairy grants you the last Magic Spell, Nayru's Love. This spell will grant you invinceablity for awhile, sheilding you inside a dimond like bubble.

Great Fairy Foutain #6
Location: Outside of Ganon's Castle

Once you've found the Golden Gauntlet go outside of Ganon's Castle go to the area with a ton of boulders around it. Navagate through them and once you've reached the big, block stuck in the ground, lift it up and throw it. Go inside the cave. Once inside play Zelda's Lullaby. The Great Fairy will do her routine and then she'll reward you with more defensive power.
