The Oracle games mark a first for the Legend of Zelda series. Both games, released on the same day,
are linkable and each feature a unique antagonist not seen in any other Zelda game. The gameplay is
almost identical to Link's Awakening but the stories are all very different. Each Oracle prologue begins with
Link riding on horseback to a mysterious temple and then being whisked off to a new land by the Triforce.
In Oracle of Ages, Link finds himself in the region of Labrynna. He finds Nayru, the Oracle of Ages but then
Veran, the Sorceress of Shadows reveals herself for mere moments. To possess Nayru, and escape to the past
through a portal made with the Oracles powers, to alter the course of history. Link must save Labrynna with
the Harp of Ages to guide him to that distant past. Will Link be able to stop the eventual construction of the
Black Tower? Or will he have to battle this baddie old-school style?
