Items
This guide will tell you about the different items and equipment, where they are located and what they are for.

Smith's Sword
Smiths Sword - Master Smith will give this sword to Link at the start of the game. He ask Link to deliver it to the castle. However, the King will give Link the sword after what happens at the castle.

Broken Picori Blade
Broken Picori Blade - The King of Hyrule will also give Link the Broken Picori Blade, so that Link can try to reforge this legendary sword. But to do that, he needs help from the Picori.

Small Shield
Small Shield - During the Picori Festival, Princess Zelda will win a small shield. She gives it to Link so he can protect her. You can use the small shield to dodge or block objects or enemies.

Bomb Bag/Bombs
Bomb Bag/Bombs - When you have defeated the Deepwood Shrine, go to the Elder and he will open a passage to his left. Head through it, and enter the house to the left. The Minish inside has heard about you because you defeated the Deepwood Shrine, and he’ll give you a bomb bag! Use them to blow up walls or rocks, or to defeat enemies!

Boomerang
Boomerang - You can buy the Boomerang from the shop in Hyrule Town. It costs 300 rupees, but it’s worth it. You can stun enemies with it, catch items from afar, and strike switches!

Gust Jar
Gust Jar - After you defeat the mini boss in Deepwood Shrine, open the big, blue chest to get the Gust Jar! Suck in enemies, pull off armors from enemies, and you can sail on a leaf using the Gust Jar!

Cane of Pacci
Cane of Pacci - The Cane of Pacci is found in a big, blue chest in the second dungeon, Cave of Flames. You can flip objects and defeat enemies with it, and if you use the Cane of Pacci in a hole in the ground, it will store energy, and once you jump into the hole, you will get shooted up in the air to reach higher platforms!

Pegasus Boots
Pegasus Boots - Wake up the Shoe Maker in Hyrule Town with the Wake-up mushroom to get the Pegasus Boots. You can use them to dash over the swamps in Castor Wilds. Travelling will also be easier if you use them. You can also learn the Dash Attack after getting the Pegasus Boots.

Bow and Arrow
Bow and Arrow - The Bow & Arrow is found in the Castor Wilds. You can use them to defeat enemies, shoot at the Eyegore Statues in Castor Wilds, hit switches and defeat bosses.

Mole Mitts
Mole Mitts - The Mole Mitts are found in the third dungeon, Fortress of Winds. You can use them to dig through the ground in the dungeon and several caves. You can also dig through clouds on Cloud Tops.

Ocarina Of Wind
Ocarina of Wind - You get the Ocarina of Wind after defeating the Fortress of Winds. The Ocarina of Wind will allow you to travel to any Wind Crests location you have found.

Flame Lantern
Flame Lantern - The Flame Lantern is found in the fourth dungeon, the Temple of Droplets. Use it to melt down blocks of ice in the Temple of Droplets, lighten up dark areas, and light up torches.

Roc's Cape
Roc's Cape - You get the Roc’s Cape in the fifth dungeon, the Palace of Winds. You can use the Roc’s Cape to fly for a little while, jump to higher places, and if you use it while the wind is blowing, you can fly across large ares. You can also learn the Down Thrust technique with the Roc’s Cape.

Bottles
Bottles - There are a total of four bottles. You can use them to store items. You will find them pretty useful against bosses. If you want to know how to get the them, see the Bottle Guide.

Grip Ring
Grip Ring - In a cave on Mt. Crenel, there’ll be a Deku Scrub shooting nuts at you. Reflect them with your shield, and once you hit the Deku Scrub, you can buy the Grip Ring for 40 rupees. Use them to climb up up walls on Mt. Crenel and Veil Falls.

Flippers
Flippers - To get the Flippers, you have to complete the mini quest to get the three books back to the library. You can climb up the books, and once you get to a minish which is living inside a book, speak to him and he will drop you down to a cave of some sort. You find the flippers in this cave. Once you get them, you can swim in water and dive in water too.

Power Bracelets
Power Bracelets - You’ll find the Power Bracelets during the quest to get the three missing books. These will allow Minish Link to move and lift heavier objects.

Jabber Nut
Jabber Nut - The Jabber Nut is found in the Minish Village. Once eaten, Link will be able to understand the Minish Language.

Lon Lon Ranch spare Key
Lon Lon Ranch Spare Key - Shrink down to Minish size and enter Malon and Talon’s house. Resize yourself and break a pot in the top-left to get the spare key. Then, shrink down to Minish size and exit the house. Resize yourself and give the spare key to Talon.

Wake-Up Mushroom
Wake-Up Mushroom - You can buy the Wake-Up Mushroom from Syrup in her hut, which is in the top-right of Minish Woods. Use the Wake-Up Mushroom to wake up the shoe-maker in Hyrule Town.

Graveyard Key
Graveyard Key - Dampe the grave keeper will give this to Link. But once you exit his house, a bird will steal the key from Link. You can get it back by killing the bird.

Joy Buttefly
Joy Butterfly - There are a total of three Joy Butterflies. One will increase Link’s swimming speed, the another one will increase Link’s digging speed and another one will increase the speed of the arrows Link shoots.

Mysterious Shells
Mysterious Shells - The Mysterious Shells are found in treasure chests, pots, under a rock, by cutting bushes, or when you defeat an enemy. Trade them for figurines in the southwest part of Hyrule Town. If you collect all the figurines, you’ll be rewarded with the Carlov Medal and a heart piece.

Tiger Scrolls
Tiger Scrolls - You get a tiger scroll for each skill you learn. If you ever forget how to use a skill, just take a look at your tiger scrolls. If you want to know how to get all the tiger scrolls, see the Tiger Scrolls guide.

Dungeon Items
Dungeon Map - Found in dungeons. It’s a map of the dungeon. This can be useful in larger dungeons.

Compass - Found in dungeons. The compass will allow you to see the locations of the treasure chests and where the boss is located.

Small Key - Found in dungeons. Use them to unlock a locked door inside the dungeon.

Big Key - Each dungeon have a Big Key. Use it to open the big door which leads to the boss of the dungeon.

Elements
Earth Element - Obtained after defeating the boss in Deepwood Shrine.

Fire Element - Obtained after defeating the boss in the Cave of Flames. Link can fuse his sword with the two elements allowing him to split into two Links.

Water Element - Obtained after defeating the boss in the Temple of Droplets. Link can fuse his sword with the water element, allowing him to split into three Links.

Wind Element - Obtained after defeating the boss in the Palace of Winds. Link can fuse his sword with the Wind Element allowing him to split into four Links. Your sword will now change into the legendary Four Swords!

Hearts
Regular Heart - Found by defeating an enemy, breaking a pot or slashing a bush. They restore one heart of Link’s health.

Heart Piece - Found all over Hyrule. Collect four heart pieces to get a new heart container!

Full Heart Container - Obtained after defeating a dungeon. A Full Heart Container will add a whole heart to Link’s health. There is one Full Heart Container which can be found in Hyrule. If you want to know how to get it, see the Heart Pieces guide.

Kinstones
Kinstone Bag - This is given to Link when you enter Hyrule Town after completing Deepwood Shrine. Use it to store all your kinstones.

Green Kinstones - Found by slashing bushes, opening treasure chests or defeating an enemy. There are three different types of green kinstones.

Blue Kinstones - These kinstones is a little hard to get. You mainly find them in treasure chests. There are two different types of blue kinstones.

Red Kinstones - These kinstones is also hard to find. You mainly get them by opening a treasure chest. There are three different types of red kinstones.

Gold Kinstones - These kinstones is needed for your quest. You need them in Castor Wilds, Cloud Tops, and you get one in the Graveyard to access the main part of Veil Falls.
