The Wind Waker is the first game to come out for the gamecube. It features a very unique storyline and a brand new set of characters and items. It uses a very Japanese-ish style of graphics. It also included a huge overworld....covered by an enormous deep, blue ocean.
Link is a local islander on the island of Outset. He has come of the age where boys on that island get to wear green tunics. His sister wakes him up one morning and tells him he gets to borrow her favorite telescope for one whole day! Link looks through it and spys the Rito Mailman flipping out. Then Link looks up and sees a huge bird carrying a girl. Then out of nowhere a giant rock flies by it. Down below a pirate ship is chasing them, then finally a rock smacks the bird and it drops the girl. Link then grabs his sword from the local swordsman and heads up there...after fighting off a couple of monsters and rescuing the girl the bird come back! But instead of grabbing the girl named Tetra it grabs Link's sister. Now Link is determined to get her back. But he needs the help of Tetra, and you. This will be an adventure you won't forget.
